Three years ago, my wife and I bought our first caravan with a simple goal — to explore more of New Zealand and enjoy the freedom that comes with life on the road. Like many new caravan owners, we quickly realised that while the lifestyle is incredible, it doesn’t come without its challenges.

I’m Michael, a semi-retired IT consultant based in Napier with a long-standing passion for technology. Not long after we got our caravan, I ran into my first real problem — backing it. To be honest, I wasn’t very good at it. I started looking for an affordable wireless reversing camera to make things easier, but quickly discovered there were very few good options available locally.

That experience opened my eyes.

From unreliable battery levels and poor internet at campsites, to the constant worry about tyre pressure and running out of gas at the worst possible time — we kept encountering problems that had simple tech solutions overseas, but were hard to find here in New Zealand.

So we decided to create a store focused on exactly that.

Every product we offer is something we’ve either used ourselves or wished we had earlier. We’ve started with a carefully selected range of smart caravan upgrades designed to solve real problems — helping you stay safer, more connected, and more in control while you travel.
